This role supports the Wind business unit within Vattenfalls CEP Digital Programme, with a focus on sourcing for the new OCC and related OT topics. The professional will be supported by both a business team and a procurement team, and will work with a wide range of stakeholders across functions and countries.
Independently executes qualified procurements of goods and services as well as follow-up and evaluation of deliveries/suppliers. The work is carried out in collaboration with the internal client, providing support/advice to employees in contract and procurement issues, and in the implementation of direct procurements and call-offs against framework agreements. Participate in working groups and participate in various investigative assignments on responsibility and procurement issues. Category manager is responsible for the Category as such. The Indirect Procurement Specialist, OT Category, will primarily support BA Wind in its transformation CEP Digital Programme. The role will establish and execute strategic sourcing activities required to establish a new OCC and associated other OT related topics.
Main assignment: Indirect Procurement, IT/OT Category
- Perform an IT/OT category and supplier-market scan covering the services and capabilities required by the programme/project.
- Translate business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into practical sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans.
- Prepare, coordinate and issue RFI, RFQ and RFP documentation with relevant business, IT, Legal, Security and Procurement stakeholders.
- Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies and decisions in line with the integrated roadmap.
- Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models and scoring structures, and coordinate transparent supplier evaluations.
- Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations and commercial recommendations.
- Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation and handover.
- Maintain a consolidated view of supplier selection status, timeline, commercial assumptions, risks and decisions.
- Provide procurement input to reporting, budget discussions and Steering Committee decision material.
Eisen
- Proven experience in complex organisations and with complex tenders is a must.
Wensen en competenties
Wensen
- First preference: experience in Wind, ideally with SCADA systems.
- Second preference: an extensive IT procurement background, which gives the professional a solid understanding of how the communication systems work.
- 10+ years of procurement experience is preferred. 7+ years can also be considered.
- Experience at procurement manager level, with the ability to communicate confidently with board-level stakeholders. The role itself is not at executive level.
- General energy-sector experience is not a major advantage. In-depth procurement knowledge counts for way more.

- Self-driven, collaborative and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary programme team.
- High integrity and sound judgement when handling commercially sensitive and confidential information.
